FEATURED GUESTSShasta is a 17 hand, 2,000 pound shire who came to us as a rescue horse from Wisconsin. He is known around the barn as “the gentle giant”. His owner Kelsey, a student at UNT spends her time training him to become the most unique trail horse out on the green belt trails.
On the other end of the spectrum we have Lincoln, a 90 pound mini. Owners Mick and Terri brought Lincoln to us in a very unique way…in the back seat. Lincoln’s claim to fame is an annual part in a local nativity scene. Always a crowd pleaser Lincoln’s presence is a wonderful addition to Pecan Meadow Ranch. The matriarch of the group John’s Fancy Sue, a proven show horse, who’s carried owner Mark Meng to multiple cutting championships. Orphaned at 10 days Faline was bottle fed by her owner Krista., and now is a happy healthy yearling filly. |
